During my recent stay at Am Tiefwarensee, I found myself pleasantly surprised, but not without a few caveats. My room was ample, featuring a cozy sitting area by the window with stunning views of the lake. I would argue the decor left something to be desired; while it wasn't lacking in cleanliness or comfort, it fell short of the luxurious ambience expected at this price point. I appreciated the spaciousness of the room and the dedicated work area; both made it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. A hot tip for those driving: there's plenty of free parking, simplifying logistics. The breakfast was enjoyable, with a diverse selection and attentive staff willing to cater to special requests-something that doesn't go unnoticed when you're a food critic! The hotel's gardens were beautifully kept, a serene spot to take a morning stroll. Despite being slightly outside the town, shops and restaurants were within a 15-minute walk-ideal for those looking to explore without additional transport costs. Am Tiefwarensee offers solid value, with a touch of luxury, albeit with room for improvement.
